I sat and watched extinguished flame
Occurance hard to be explained
Why loss of something close and dear
Did nay bring not one single tear

For though the view was very clear
Of true delight she caused when near
But way too brief too short the glance
Kind image fled once brought in dance

Suppose its best this urge to part
Clandestined was it*s very start
Demanding quick and answer fast
I knew brite future had surely past

But not all dreams have shadows cast
On wishes sought for love to last
Believe that time will soon reveal
With patient heart too one day feel
